Founded in 2005, Illicado became the leader in multi-brand gift cards by innovating at a time when paper vouchers were the leading product. The Illicado brand is operated by Synedis, a 100% French company with headquarters in Croix. It currently employs more than 160 people. Illicado issued more than 6.5 million cards in 2021. The card is accepted in 20,000 stores of 170 brands. Fifty leading websites accept payment with Illicado gift cards.
